The New Year is upon us, just 1 month to go and you can bet your Google Adwords Money that there are folks out there already thinking about their New Year’s Resolution. I already heard the quit smoking, lose weight and make more money resolutions starting on January 1st 2009.
I usually ask them (and myself) - Why wait till New Year’s Eve? And do you know anyone who has kept their new year’s resolution. Most likely the answer is NO.
Being committed for success means doing more than setting a goal once a year and then check up on it a couple of weeks later to see how that goal is set. That’s a recipe for failure. To reach a goal you must be committed.
When setting a goal, make sure that you’re not just aiming at one small area in your life and make sure you have a good enough reason that will make you commit to it. Ideally you break your goals in key areas (not in any particular order).
- Personally
Learning,Emotions, Reading, Focus, Self Fulfillment, Self Development, Vision and all kind of mental Skills - Spiritual
Getting to know yourself, Contribute to your society, Being More Aware, Charity, Meditation, in Contact with our Soul - Physical
Health, Sport, Exercise, Sleep, Beauty, - Professional is what I create in my Work as a meaningful Contribution to society and to my personal Fulfillment
There’s no point in making a million bucks and your stomach is hanging down and jiggling while you brush your teeth. There’s no point if you succeed in your profession and your personal life is in the drain. There’s no point in helping yourself if you don’t help anyone along the way. All areas are important and you must try as much as you can to keep a balance in all areas of your life.
When setting your goals Be Specific and Give yourself a Time Limit. There is no point saying I’m going to make $10,000. Say something like I’m going to make $10,000 by 31st December 2008 and I am going to buy my mother the Coat that she always wanted and needed.
I am ranking no.1 for the keywords Malta SEO and SEO Malta by 31st December 2001
Do not wait for New Year’s to make a change.
How much money are you going to make in the remaining 31 days? December is going to be my successful month. How about yours?
I want you to share with me Your Goals For December and 2009! I will promise to help you out as much as I can.
