I have never went camping before this day. A friend called me up and told me that they had planned a weekend camping trip and invited me to come. I didn’t have a tent, any light or food prepared but I got intrigued by the idea. I called my girlfriend up to see if she’s up for it [which she was], then I went to a local mega store and I bought a tent for about €15, got some food and beer and I was good to go.
Malta is a very small island, and it only took me about 30 minutes to get to L-Ahrax tal-Mellieha, our camping site.
The first thing that struck me when I got there was the view. I have been living in Malta all my life, and these kinds of views still take my breath away.
