A short story about 2 mice and 2 ‘little people’ in a maze looking for cheese.
Who moved my cheese is a sweet and thoughtful little story, told as a fable, about how different people react in situations of change and turmoil. It’s one of those books that can put a smile and your face and help you understand situations a lot better. It’s very short and easy to digest, a 10 year old can read the story and learn from a story and so can a business organization. The point of the book is to get people to acknowledge change and go with it, instead of using it as an excuse to complain, and being afraid of the unknown.
Of course ‘cheese’ is just a metaphor for what you want in life (such as money, the ideal job, the ideal person), and the ‘maze’ represents where you are looking for what you want (such as your family, an organization and the world around). As the story goes, we fellow one of the characters (Haw, who I bet you can relate to) learns to deal with change successfully and writes what he has learned on the maze wall.
This book is for
- Those who don’t know how to deal with change
- People who are afraid of change
- Finding the benefits of change
- Understanding change, why it occurs and what to do as a result
Who moved my cheese is one of those books that you want everyone you know to know about.
